At present, the company is composed of its owner, Jon Laughton, working independently and with a network of associates, whose combined expertise spans a wide range of engineering disciplines.

Jon Laughton is a chartered mechanical engineer who has worked in the field of special purpose machinery for several well-known companies, including Carnaud Metalbox, The Colchester Lathe Company, Rothmans International and the UK Atomic Energy Authority. He has been responsible for designing and developing equipment as diverse as can welding and forming machinery,CNC and manual machine tools, test and assembly machines and high speed packaging machinery.
